WEGE RESIDENCE

This Sedona home was designed to fit unobtrusively into its spectacular site under Coffeepot Rock. Native sandstone walls are bermed into the entry side landscape, giving privacy and aiding site integration. The main spaces on the north side of the home were designed as view pavilions, each with a unique structure made from local juniper trees, recycled timbers, and clay plasters, in patterns inspired by ancient Anasazi Kivas and Navajo hogans. The home is rich in natural, warm finishes, and expresses the organic shapes of Sedona’s landscape.
